Located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, the Berks Quilters Guild meets on the third Tuesday of each month throughout the year.
The guild offers its members an inspiring program and warm fellowship at every meeting. Quilt Challenges, Quilting Bees, Workshops and Retreats deepen and enhance friendships while they encourage members to develop their quilting skills to a higher level.
New Year, New Challenge-Susan Albright
As we do every year, BQG is issuing a challenge to all members in 2023. We will focus on that ever expanding pile of fabric scraps. Think about the many ways we can combine those bits; strips, squares, triangles, rectangles, circles, hexagons, improvised shapes, any shape you can imagine. The possibilities are endless. More scraps = more interesting. Sizes of the finished quilt can range from a mini to a crib quilt, approximately 42x50 inches.
At the November, 2023 guild meeting your completed (quilted and bound) entries will be displayed and our membership will vote on their favorites. Let's get scrappy!
