2009-2010 UFO Challenge

Bring your completed UFO's and your notebook sheet to each meeting for Show & Tell, then see one of the committee members
to give them a paper with your project # for a ticket for the monthly drawing.

Extreme Ironing Challenge

Our highly imaginative, greatly inspired, and somewhat demented Challenge Committee is issuing yet another challenge this year!  Between now and the August meeting they would like us to join in the extreme sport and performance art of Extreme Ironing!  (EI)  Just take your ironing board clothing and iron to an unusual or remote location and have someone take a photo of you as proof.  Some ideas:  in a forest; in a canoe; in the middle of the street, etc.  Anything goes!  Broken bones are NOT a requirement!  Bring your photo and a little story about your adventure to the August meeting.  Are YOU willing to take this newest, fun and more than a little crazy challenge?  Put those thinking caps on, have fun, and BE SAFE!

For Our Veterans

More than 100 quilts were turned in for our Guild Service project.  Our goal of 100 lap quilts by the end of December was met.....we have 108, which were delivered on December 18th to the VA Hospital

Volunteers Needed

There are still a few openings for Committee Chairs for the 2010 Quilt Show.  Candy Moyer, Boutique Chair, is looking for
assistants to help with this committee. Many hands make light work.
If interested, contact Candy and volunteer.
